A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine reveals that older adults are at greater risk of contracting the SARS virus and the other types of coronaviruses that can lead to serious complications. COVID 19, the most common type of coronavirus, is more likely to cause serious cases of pneumonia in the elderly.
